The lucky three contrade to run for Palio of August 2017 are Lupa, Aquila and Bruco.
We saw already Aquila and Bruco on July, with Aquila nearly winning the Palio. Lupa is still enjoying last year victory but her enemy Istrice will be there to spice things up.
The other seven contrade are Chiocciola, Selva, Oca, Valdimontone, Torre, Istrice, Onda. More detailed information here (in Italian).
