Very appreciated by the public the Palio for July race painted by artist Laura Brocchi, presented yesterday in Palazzo Pubblico and welcomed with a long applause.
This year the Palio is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of one of Siena's most important theater "Teatro dei Rozzi", a very old institution that all senesi are proud of.
It is also a tradition that the drape for July's Palio is painted by a local artist, and the young Laura Brocchi was honored with this task. We will see again this artwork during Palio day on the 2nd of July, and we are all looking forward to see which contrada will carry it home!
